Providing evidence for the benefits of culturally meaningful responses to family violence and drawing upon responses enacted nationally and internationally. We aim to be on the reading edge of effective responses, bringing evidence-based practices that are culturally meaningful back to the communities in which we work.

Creating a safe space for bringing mainstream services and respected cultural communities together to address issues of concern from both parties. Facilitating conversations that would lead to building mutual respect and partnerships.

Showcasing best practices for effective culturally-informed and integrated responses to
family violence.  Having accessed external literature and with over 15 years of on-the-ground
experience, we offer online and in-person resources, tools and workshops to build the capacity of
both mainstream service providers and diverse cultural communities.

Working directly with communities across Canada to help integrate culturally meaningful best practices in social and anti-violence services for newcomers and others coming from collectivist backgrounds.
